8 1/4" X 11 1/4" Watercolor on Arches Hotpress 140lbs paper
I also figured I share this experiment. I’m still playing around with the last sheets of the Arches 140lbs Hot Press that I have. That’s how I paint, I did both the JEM painting and this on a half sheet of paper I stretch and then cut them off of the board. There are some things I’m starting to like about working on the Hotpress, but I think for the most part I will always prefer watercolor painting on cold press. Still I like how this one came out so I think I will try to do some more works like it.

ReplyDeleteTruly, truly, truly outrageous!
Deletesome seriously mangtastic work Don! I love that you picked Jem! I looked up the singer/voice actor and she is still making music!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rio :D
DeleteDamn JEM is still singing?!!! That's doing work, son! LOL
Just can't resist the uber-tech, can you? : ) And a good thing; it's killer. And happy to see Jem of course. She was right there at the start- She and the Baroness taught young Langdon much about the feminine.
