C E N O B I T E

I was going to watch Hellraiser again after I herd about this weeks topic, only to look through my collection and remember that I don't have it. I need to pick that shit up. Well the first two. Anyhow this is my own version of a Cenobite, done on toned paper in colored pencil.

d a r k P H O E N I X

I got Timberline done during the con. I would have liked to have done a little more on it but this was a busy weekend. It was great to see all of ya'll at the con! Can't wait to see you guys again at Denver Comic Con!

Vertigo

I wanted to do an uncommon female villain so I went with Vertigo from the Marauders.

Inked at ComicFest 2013.  Good to see all the Timberline representation at the convention.  There's so many of us there--it's like legion or something.

Mystique

I wouldn't say she's my favorite X-Men villain, but she's pretty awesome. I watch First Class the other day and I picked her for my entry this week.

Oh - mega Red...

I don't know if Omega Red is my favorite X villain but he has been popping up a lot recently for me.  I recently read an article looking back at his introduction and what a silly mess it was.  It basically says that Omega Red is the embodiment of what every young boy at the time would like and man did I love him as a young boy.  He kicked some ass in those early fighting games too.

Anywho, a quicky this week.  Getting ready for the ComicFest and an apartment move.  See most of you at the show this weekend!

I've not posted for several weeks now and I apologize for that. Here's a quick sketch of the Guyver with Copics.

Pink Ranger

I'm still working on doing digital stuff with the Cintiq. Here's what I drew the pink Power Ranger like.

I poked a little fun with this week's topic. I really wanted to do ACTION BASTARD from Shin Chan, but I thought it would be a little more fun to create my own Super Henti...I mean Sentai team. =^-^=

Kikaider!

I have no idea what Kikaider is, only that it fits our topic! It just looks horrisome. That's horrible and awesome at the same time. Or is that awerrible? (Thanks Justin, for that new verb.)
Any rate, here it is!

Cheers

Missed last week's topic trying to get ready for cons. Not really a Power Rangers guy so I played catch up with Leo Eastman style and Kamen Rider Black...Both as sketch cards for Toy Con.

The Guyver...

This week was a quicky.  Getting ready for the cons but I still wanted to do this topic, mostly because Joe mentioned the Guyver.  I looked up the topic and mostly found Power Rangers and I am way more familiar with the Guyver than Power Rangers.  I used to be really into Anime and Mange in high school and one of my favorites was the Guyver.  Always loved that suit of his.  I believe they made a live action with Mark Hamil.  WTF lol.  Anywho, here we are.  The Guyver!

Green Mystic Ranger

Green Mystic Ranger from Power Rangers Mystic Force.  His powers stem from the forest (get it? Haha!) Mystic Force's Super Sentai counterpart was the 29th of the epic series called Mahou Sentai Magiranger.

It's not necessarily according to the topic's instructions, but I thought it would be cool to pull a mask on/off piece.

Blue pencil, ink, and Prismacolor on sketch card bristol.

Catching up!

Got a little busy last week so I had to do the FLASH sketch along with the TMNT piece. Raphael was always my favorite, and I used to draw the turtles all the time when I was a kid but I don't think I ever drew Shredder.

TURTLE POWER!

While this isn't as pretty as Kevin's amazing Krang drawing, I did want to spend some time on this week's entry. Loved the Turtles as a kid, and now I'm enjoying them all over again with my 4YO, thanks to Nickelodeon's new version.
So here you go...

Wish I had the time to color it.

Just a note...if you like this drawing, or any of my other Timberline posts, I'll have most of the originals for sale at ComicFest (4/19-4/21) and Denver Comic Con (5/31-6/2). So stop by and see me!

Cheers

Krang!

TMNT was one of those things I enjoyed way more as a child and have kind of left there.  My favorite toy when I was a kid was the full body Krang.  I wasn't so fancy that I got to have the Techno Dome or whatever it was called.  I don't remember much about Krang now come to think of it lol.  Anywho, Krang!

Ack Ack Ack

I'm several weeks late with this one. Here's a scan (of the majority of the piece fitted together from 2 scanned sections). I'd started it during the week of the topic but got sidetracked, per usual. Hopefully it was worth the wait.

Prince Vultan

It's a little late, but here's my entry for Flash Gordon week (which was really an excuse to draw Brian Blessed.)
