Well, if you grew up in Denver, you undoubtably know the institution that is Blinky the Clown. As a child I loved the guy, his TV show, and his hypnotic way of singing happy birthday to all the children. As an adult I visited Blinky's overstuffed Broadway antiques store, aptly named "Blinky's," and was always off-put by how grumpy my favorite childhood clown really was. I often thought, 'I loved Blinky, but this motherfucker will probably kill you."
PS. We need a header image designed.
I suppose I just volunteered myself. Shit. Lol!

ReplyDeleteHis store was just south of Herman's hideaway. It is no longer there.

ReplyDeleteI actually went to a Blinky's fun club show while it was being taped as a kid, so yeah this is pretty fucking creepy! LOL I'm glad everybody got into the pick, I kind of thought people might not want to do it.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Jim! I've really dug all of the ones that have been shared so far. You guys are a killer bunch ... of clowns.
ReplyDeleteMan, your stuff always looks so SLICK! Love the way he's holding that straight razor.
