Living Dead Girl

I don't typically do pinup style art. I'm not sure that everyone would agree that this falls into that category but I'm going to go ahead and say it does. Hope you enjoy it.

BTW, I looked at a bunch of Gil Elvgren pieces before starting this. There is a specific painting of his that I took extra notice of when doing this. I don't know if I would tall this an homage but I enjoy and respect Elvgren's work quite a lot.

"Undead" commissioned sketch at SDCC

I had started another piece for this theme but ended up not yet finishing it. I was at San Diego Comic Con. So sue me. I did manage to do this commissioned sketch while in San Diego, however, so I'm posting it here for your amusement. It's inspired by a make up design from AMC's The Walking Dead television show. Hope you enjoy it!

Zombies? Easy Like Sunday Morning...

It occurred to me, that as much as I love zombies, I had never done an Outdoorsman vs. Zombies drawing of any kind. So here it is. Hope you enjoy it...color to come soon, but I wanted to get this up on the blog.

Zombies

This was a fun topic for me. I did this from my hotel room in San Diego.



Here's a decent scan of Rob's piece. That hotel lighting really adds a lot of additional atmosphere.
